How to Pack and Carry the ComPack Rocker

Quick Answer

To pack and carry the ComPack Rocker, fold it using the built-in carry strap, secure the bag, and lift with proper posture. Avoid forcing the fold—use the release mechanism for a smooth collapse.

Step-by-Step Packing and Carrying Guide

1. Clear the Area: Make sure the ground is clean and free of obstacles. This prevents the chair from snagging or getting dirty during the folding process. Always fold on a flat, clear surface.
2. Release the Locking Mechanism: Locate the locking mechanism on the side of the chair. Pull or press it to release the frame. Do not force the chair—if it resists, check that the mechanism is fully disengaged. Forcing the fold can damage the frame.
3. Fold the Chair: Grasp the seat and backrest, and push them together smoothly. The chair should collapse into a flat, compact shape. Avoid pinching your fingers between the moving parts. Keep fingers clear of the folding joints.
4. Store the Carry Bag: Unfold the included carry bag and place the folded chair inside. Ensure the bag is fully open so the chair slides in without snagging. Use the bag to protect the chair during transport.
5. Lift and Carry: Use the carry handle or strap to lift the bag. Keep your back straight and lift with your legs. The chair is lightweight, but proper lifting prevents strain. Bend your knees, not your back.
